Club Mystic Creamy Garlic Shrimp Linguine

At Club Mystic, the experience does not stop at the music, the lights, or the VIP section.
The food has to hold its own too.
Club Mystic Creamy Garlic Shrimp Linguine is one of those dishes built to feel rich without becoming heavy, familiar without feeling basic, and polished enough to belong on a late-night luxury menu.
Tender seasoned shrimp are served over linguine coated in a smooth garlic-Parmesan cream sauce, then finished with fresh parsley, cracked black pepper, and bright lemon.
It is simple comfort food dressed for a night out.
The Flavor Behind the Dish
The foundation of this pasta is the sauce.
Heavy cream and Parmesan create the richness, while fresh garlic gives the dish its savory backbone. A splash of chicken broth keeps the sauce smooth, and lemon cuts through the cream just enough to keep every bite balanced.
The shrimp bring another layer.
They are seasoned before hitting the skillet, giving them a lightly golden exterior and enough flavor to stand on their own instead of disappearing underneath the sauce.
Fresh parsley and lemon finish everything with color and brightness.
The result is creamy, garlicky, buttery, slightly tangy, and just spicy enough if you choose to add crushed red pepper.

1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional
For the Pasta and Cream Sauce
12 ounces linguine
2 tablespoons butter
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional
For Finishing
1 to 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
freshly grated Parmesan
lemon wedges
cracked black pepper
Directions
Cook the Linguine
Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil.
Add the linguine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
Before draining, reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
Drain the pasta and set it aside.
Prepare the Shrimp
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
Season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.
Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the shrimp in a single layer.
Cook for approximately 1 to 2 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and lightly golden.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Build the Garlic Cream Sauce
Reduce the heat to medium.
Add 2 tablespoons butter to the same skillet.
Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for approximately 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
Pour in the chicken broth and allow it to simmer for about 1 minute.
Add the heavy cream, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
Stir and allow the sauce to gently simmer.
Reduce the heat to low and gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese.
Continue stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
Do not allow the sauce to boil aggressively once the cheese has been added.
Bring Everything Together
Add the cooked linguine directly to the skillet.
Toss until every strand is coated in the cream sauce.
If the sauce becomes thicker than you prefer, add a few tablespoons of the reserved pasta water.
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet.
Gently toss or arrange them across the top of the pasta.
Finish the Dish
Sprinkle with fresh parsley, additional Parmesan, and cracked black pepper.
Serve with fresh lemon wedges on the side.
The Club Mystic Touch
Presentation matters.
Serve the pasta in a wide shallow bowl or polished skillet, allowing the shrimp to remain visible instead of disappearing underneath the noodles.
Finish with fresh Parmesan and parsley just before serving.
A lemon wedge on the side adds color while giving guests the option to brighten the sauce even more.
This is the kind of dish that belongs somewhere between dinner and the beginning of the night.
Rich enough to feel indulgent.
Familiar enough to crave again.
